My name is Lydia Taylor, and I’m a second-year graduate student at Kent State University earning my M.A. in journalism. I graduated with my B.S. in multimedia journalism from Kent in 2018.
My goal is to be a health reporter and help people across the nation find out more about their mysterious illnesses and what cures or treatments are available to them. I currently work as the Walton D. Clarke Fellow for NPR member station WKSU in Kent, Ohio. Through that fellowship, I produce Morning Edition.
Outside of school and work, my favorite activity is hiking (especially at the Ledges Overlook Trail in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park) and eating pasta. Oh, and playing with my dog when I get to go home and see my family.
